There is no standard layout/version of what a pay stub looks like and where things are located on such a pay stub. You'll just have to ask someone in your HR department.
That being said, filing a tax return before you have received a Form W-2 is DANGEROUS. And besides, the IRS will not start accepting returns for processing until much later in January. And returns claiming either the Earned Income Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit will have refunds help until at least the end of February. My advice is that you WAIT to prepare your return until you receive your W-2.
