I am holding academic H1 visa and working in a university as a post doctoral associate. My husband was working here on L1 visa during 2012 to 2014. He left the job and return to home country on 2014 January 15.Afterthat he was not working there. Now he just came here on H4 visa on December 31 2014. I need some suggestions for the following questions. 1)So for this year, I need to include him, when I am filing tax ?
2)Can we file married jointly? or 3) separately ?
He have a SSN number (which is obtained when he was on L1) .
4) He need to apply for a new ITIN number for filing tax?
5) Is it possible to file returns using TurboTax in my case?
