The majority of
W-2 forms associated with the EIN you entered are produced by ADP. These W-2s from ADP always include a Control
Number/Box d. However, since you do not
have a Control Number/Box d value on your W-2 form, your W-2 was likely not
produced by ADP, so you will be unable to import. This is caused by your company utilizing 2 different payroll providers to produce W-2s. To manually enter your W-2, you will need to
click the Back button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen, leave the
EIN box empty, then click Continue. You
will then be brought to the manual entry screen.
