To enter the amount from box 6 of the 1099-PATR in TurboTax Self-Employed:
- Continue working on your return in TurboTax Self-Employed. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
- Click Tax Tools (lower left side of your screen).
- Select Tools.
- In the pop-up window, select Topic Search.
- In the I'm looking for: box, type 8903.
- In the results bar, highlight 8903, then click GO.
- You'll land on Do you have any of these uncommon self-employed deductions? Check Domestic Production Activities (Form 8903), then click Continue.

Any Domestic Production Activities? Click Yes.

Enter Info on the Form Below. Scroll down in Form 8903 and enter the information from box 6 of the 1099-PATR on line 23, then click Continue. (Click the screenshot below for reference.)
