Get your taxes done using TurboTax

After you enter the 1095-A information, TurboTax will automatically determine if you qualify for the refundable Premium Tax Credit (PTC). If there is no entry Part III Column B, Monthly second lowest cost silver plan (SLCSP) premium, you'll need to use the Health coverage tax tool to get the value.

You can preview your 1040 to see if there is a net PTC on line 45 (1040A) or line 69 (1040). 

• Continue your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
• Click the drop-down arrow next to Tax Tools (lower left of your screen).
• Select Tools.
• Under Other helpful links…, click View Tax Summary.
• At the left side of the screen, click Preview my 1040.
• Scroll down to line 45 on Form 1040A (or line 69 on Form 1040). The net Premium Tax Credit, if any, will be here. (Click the screenshot below to enlarge it for reference.)
