Yes, you are correct that you can file a Resident NY return, and your wife needs to file a Part-Year Resident return for PA, but you could probably file jointly for NY, since you are both residents now. 

You indicate what date she moved to NY in TurboTax.  It would probably be easier to use the desktop version, to able to use Forms mode and to create different scenarios. 

If she has W-2s reflecting PA income and tax withheld and NY income and tax withheld, TurboTax will split the income automatically between states.   If not, she may need to to some calculation to allocate income between states.
