I agree, there should be more transparency regarding price increases. I was fully expecting to pay one price when I began my return. Once I received all my necessary documentation and got to the payment stage, I was confused as to why it shot up $20. I received no notice of a price increase, nor was there clear information that prices were for a limited time. For this reason and the reduced ease of navigation through the updated version (for me anyway) are prompting me to use another tax software next year.
