You should have received a Form 1099-G for your 2016 state tax refund. To enter in the program, here are the steps:
1. After sign into your account, select Take me to my return
2. At the right upper corner, search for 1099-g and then click the appropriate "Jump to" link in the search results.
- Important! Make sure to include the dash in your search, or you'll end up on the unemployment/paid family leave screen.
3. On the Did you have any of these types of income? screen, answer Yes.
4. On the next screen, select State or local income tax refunds and click Continue.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your state/locality, refund amount, and tax year.
