I'm 29 and I made around 9,000 in 2017. I lived with my parents for 5 months and moved out. I found out my dad claimed me as dependent and I owe the IRS 100.00 because he claimed me. I thought someone can't be claimed if they made over 4,000. I was hoping to get 646.00 back and now I owe 100.00, its a very low blow.
