Actually, you CANNOT "file" before Jan 29. Sending the return to TurboTax's e-file servers is not "filing". Only when the return gets sent to the IRS processing system (after it passes the checks in the IRS e-file system and "accepted") is the return "filed". The IRS processing system will not be operational until Jan 29.
