Get your taxes done using TurboTax

In the Income & Expenses section (the Income Reported on Your 2016 Return page), TurboTax asks if any of your previous income still applies. In order to get to this screen

  • Login to your TurboTax Self Employed online account
  • Click Take me to my return or pick up where I left off
  • Click the Income & Expenses tab.
  • You should now see the Income Report on Your 2016 Return screen (as shown in the attached screenshot). Click NO next to the income that you no longer have.
  • Click Continue; The next screen may give you already loaded income information. Click review next to the income you need to enter or change (ie W2, self-employment/Schedule C).
  • In the review Screen, you can click the trash can icon next to the existing income information you no longer need.
  • Click Add W2 (for job income) or Add another line of work (for self employment) to enter new income information.
