If you have yet to file your return, you can input unemployment income by following these instructions with your return open:
- Click on Search (magnifying glass) in upper right hand corner
- Type: 1099g and hit enter
- Answer Yes to receiving unemployment benefits.
If you have already filed your return, then you would have to file an amendment, the steps of which can be found here.
