No. There can be only one Head of Household quite possibly the highest earner. The other will be single with dependents.
Here are the requirements:
- You need to pay more than half the cost to run your home (or the home of a qualifying parent) in 2017 (rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.) Only one of you can pay for "more than half". The other would be "less than half".
- You need to support a qualifying person.
- You were unmarried as of December 31, 2017
When you go through the Personal Info section, TurboTax will let you know if your situation qualifies you for Head of Household.
