I agree that Form 2210 is not needed in these circumstances, and that it's OK to omit it.  I do not agree that willfully inputting phony information someplace else in order to eliminate Form 2210 is OK.  That false information becomes part of your TurboTax history, and who knows where it might show up on your filed return somewhere, someday?  Now I do agree that it would likely be harmless.  But why take that chance when there's already a solution (link posted above)?  And, if your intentionally false information is caught by the IRS, do you want to risk an audit even if you don't get punished?  (And your intentionally phony information would surely void TurboTax's guarantee.)  So again, you might want to be careful about casual advice to intentionally input false tax information.
