I am in the US on a TN1 visa. My wife is living in the US on a TD1 visa. She can't work on a TD1 visa and she won't file taxes/has no SSN. Can I still file jointly? How?
We were married in June of 2017. She moved to the US after we were married and has not worked here. She will hopefully find a job and get sponsorship for a H1-B or similar visa.
