Thank you for the quick response and great information. I have spoken to a couple of my friends in the military here that filed Jointly and it seems the tax return is ... substantially greater.
So now I have a couple more questions: If I decide to go down the route of Married Filing Jointly, do I need to submit an Extension since the tax deadline is a little over two weeks and I DO NOT currently have, or applied, for an ITIN? Or does following these instructions and mailing everything before April 18 suffice? And also do I have to do over-night mailing?
