On the first Health Insurance screen, if you were covered all year, you will select "I had health insurance coverage all year"
The next screen is "Were you covered by any of these plans in 2016?"
- If your parents purchased a healthcare plan from the Marketplace, select Yes
- Otherwise, select No -- this would be an employer plan, or a plan through Tricare, Medicare or the VA
If your parents had a Marketplace plan, you will have to enter in some information from their 1095-A.
