To get back to the question you will have to start the return from Personal Information and select edit.
During the questionnaire, there will be a spot for you to check "This
person passed away before filing the tax return". You'll want to check
that option. Then file the rest of the return normally. When you print
out the documents to file them, on the signature line it will say
"Deceased".
