"D", "W", and "DD" are all codes that appear in box 12 of your W-2.
It does not matter which order they are in, that is, which box they are in (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d). When TurboTax tax refers to an entry for box 12 on the W-2, it always refers to the code, not the box number, because a code like "D" could be in any of the boxes for box 12 (12a, 12b, 12c, or 12d).
That is, the dollar amount is paired with the code, not entered in a fixed sub-box.
