How do I put my spouses income in?

I answered all the questions for Married Filing Jointly and then it never asked for my husband's income.  (we just got married this year)

Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Congratulations on your marriage! Did you get married in 2017? If so, you cannot file a married joint or married separate return for 2016 because you were not married during the 2016 tax year. You file as Single on your 2016 return. Next year you will be able to file together as married on your 2017 return

If you got married in 2016- Your spouse's income is entered in the same section as your income. You just have to indicate who the income belongs to when entering the income data on the TurboTax forms.

To add your spouse's income (W-2):

1. Go to "Federal Taxes" at the top of the screen

2. Select the "Wages & Income" sub-tab

3. Select "Start/Revisit" next to "Wages and Salaries"

4. Select "+Add a W-2 for Spouse" in blue
