No, it should wind up on line 7 of your return, for Wages. What box was this $3.10 entered on? Assuming it was reported in box 7, enter your 1099-MISC, then on the screen Describe the reason for this 1099-MISC enter lawsuit settlement, or back wages. Next, on the screen Does one of these uncommon situations apply? check This was money from a lawsuit settlement, and then answer yes that it was for back wages, then enter the amount. See the screenshot.
That should place your 1099-Misc in the correct spot on your return, and no Schedule C will be necessary.
