It depends. You can claim your daughter as a dependent, if:
- She is under the age of 24 and full time student (being full time student until May qualifies) and she has not provided more than half of her own support, OR
- She is the age of 24 and her gross income is less than $4050 and you paid more than half of her total support for the year.
