I was told to mail my state refund in for last year for 2015. Does turbo tax inform the state of how much I owe? I never mailed it in so I want to know how it will affect 2016 return as I am receiving a state refund this year. I only owed $50, I am aware of penalties and fees and am inquiring if the 2016 refund will be delayed because 2015 wasn't sent in or if turbo tax informs them (even though I was told to mail) and will state deduct it from this years refund.?
