It primarily depends upon whether you have expenses related to the 1099 MISC income that you would want to deduct against the income. TurboTax Deluxe supports 1099 MISC income, but only for certain expenses. You can start your return in the online TurboTax Deluxe program and it will let you know if you need to upgrade to Premier or Self-Employed as you encounter tax scenarios that are not handled in TurboTax Deluxe.
