If you need to change your answer to "someone else can claim me as a dependent", follow these steps:
- Sign into your TurboTax account and click "Take me to my return"
- Select Personal Info (top left of program)
- Select Edit next to your name
- Scroll down the next page until you come to "A few other things we need to know" and at the first question "Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return", answer to Yes
