I owe CA State Tax, how do I tell TurboTax I will be on a payment plan and NOT "withdraw now..." or "mail check later"?

I already went to the CA FTB and filled out the request. I do not need to know how to do this. What I need to make sure of is I don't mislead the CA FTB in expecting a check from me.

You won't mislead them. Just say youbwill mail a check. Then pay or don't pay it anyway you want.
