Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Yes, if you wish to avoid paying taxes when you file next year's tax return, you should revise Form W-4 provided to your employer(s). Note that the filing status and exemptions you claim on Form W-4 has no effect on your tax return. This information is used to calculate your withholding taxes, and nothing more. So you can choose Married and 6 exemptions if you like.

Just remember that if you don't pay in enough taxes during the year, you may owe taxes when you file your return next year.

For more info, see: Can I use TurboTax to update my W-4?

Also, TurboTax TaxCaster is a quick and easy tool that may be able to assist you with this.
