I have over 2k crypto trades to report. I used bitcoin.tax to get my overall gain/loss and generate 8949, but do I have to enter each trade? How do I report a summary?
So I usually use Turbo Tax to do my taxes since it's quick and easy. However, this year I have over 2k crypto trades to report. I used a third party software to get my overall gain/loss and that's fine, but do I have to submit a report of each trade with dates and buy/sell prices?
These were easy enough to pull from the exchange using software but the problem I'm running into is that I can't upload a csv file or even a turbo tax .txf to the standard or premium turbo tax app/websites.
Am I going to have to actually find a tax professional who knows how to file this stuff (I live in a rural setting)?
