I am make more than my wife and claim 2 allowances. She is claiming 1. We do file jointly on our taxes. What are the pros/cons on what allowances each of us should claim?
We currently do not have any dependents, but are expecting a baby in November 2018. Since I make more should I claim 2 and her still claim 1 or should someone be claiming 0? Any advice would help.
