Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Understand that that page is really asking if TurboTax needs to make some adjustment to line 7 (wages and salary) of your Form 1040.

So, for example, let's say that your employer somehow completely overlooked the fact that the vesting of the RSUs should have been reported on your W-2.  Let's further assume that you worked through the "RSU" step by step interview correctly, (it's not really necessary to use this interview from the standpoint of "income tax return" reporting in most cases), and came up with the correct compensation that should have been reported on your W-2, but wasn't.  In this case you'd respond to TurboTax's question with a "No" and TurboTax would add the amount of compensation it calculated to line 7 of Form 1040.

Presumably you don't need to have TurboTax make an adjustment to line 7 of Form 1040.  That is, in your case, your employer has reported correctly the amount of compensation associated with the RSUs vesting, (and the dividend equivalent).  So, you simply answer "Yes" to that question, even though that answer is not literally true, and TurboTax makes no entry on line 7 of Form 1040, which is exactly what you want to achieve.
