If you selected to have your fees taken out of your refund (refund
processing fee), it won't allow you to receive a paper check. You would
need to change your payment option to Pay With Card. If you would like to change your payment option and have not already filed, here's how to do so:
- Log in to your online account, and then click on the Take Me to My Return
- Click on the File tab at the end and then click on Start (or Revisit) next to Step 1.
- Click on View Payment Options at the bottom
- Here you'll be able to click Pay by Card
- Once you've entered in your information, you will be directed back to the File tab with Step1-3 listed.
- Click Revisit next to Step 2 and here you can change your option to paper check
