What do I answer for the Schedule C error I am recieving for my Americorps 1099-misc?
I used an Americorps award towards fed student loan payments in 2015 so I received a 1099-MISC. I entered the information to file the 1099-misc, but then during the review process I received an error to fill out the 1040 Schedule C information. I'm not sure how to answer these questions since it wasn't really my own business and the info isn't on the 1099... questions include accounting method, address, principal business code, business name, material participation, and required to file 1099.
