I had to turn off my browser extension ad-blocker to even be allowed to click the email link (otherwise the window just opened and then immediately disappeared). After that, simply signing it didn't do it for me; I needed to click the link on the bottom right to "Start for free" (or something like that) under the 50% discounted price, and THEN log in from the next screen.
