Yes, you can do that. To enter your gambling winnings in Turbo Tax, follow these steps:
- Log
into your tax return.
- Using the search box in the upper right hand corner, type
in "w2g" and press enter.
- This will bring up the "Jump to
gambling winnings on w2g" link...click that link.
- Click the "Skip W-2G" button.
- Click the "Yes" button to indicate that you have gambling winnings that were not reported on a W-2G.
- Enter your gambling your income on this screen and click continue.
- Enter you gambling losses (which can not exceed your gambling
earnings) and click continue.
