You can manually update onto a thumb drive and transfer it to the computer TurboTax is installed on. Manual updates are available for TurboTax for Windows federal programs (Basic through Business). They're not available for the Mac or TurboTax State programs, nor can they be used to convert an older version of TurboTax to a newer one.
