Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Please review the following helpful information below. You don't need the form to file your tax return. TurboTax will ask you questions about your health coverage but your 1095-C isn't needed. Just keep the form in your files.

  • Since you are a TurboTax Deluxe Customer, I have included the Contact Us link at the bottom, if you require additional assistance.

What's a Form 1095-C?

If you have a  1095-C, a form titled Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage  the IRS does NOT need any details from this form. You can keep any 1095-C forms you get from your employer for your records.

When you come to the question “Did you have health insurance coverage in 2016”, simply select “Yes”.

When you come to the question "Were you enrolled in a plan from HealthCare.gov or another state's Marketplace in 2016?", select "No".

If you're covered through your job or have health insurance through the VA or Tricare, your plan isn't a marketplace plan, but it still counts as health care coverage.
