If you filed a joint return last year -
- And you were listed first, you don't need to start a new return. You can just delete your spouse. Remember, however, that your ex-spouse may still have the login and password for that account.
- And you were listed second, you need to start a new return. Turbotax indexes by the first name so it can't be effectively deleted.
