To reach that section of
TurboTax, please do the following:
- From within your return, click Federal Taxes
Or, Personal if using Home & Business
- Then, in
the white bar at the top, click Other Tax
Situations
- Then,
under Additional Tax Payments,
click Start next to Apply Refund to Next Year

You'll see
two options on the next screen:
-Apply all or part of it toward next year’s tax
bill, or
-Give me my entire refund now
Since you select a dollar
amount, rather than a percentage, it is best to address this entry when you are
done going over income and deductions so you have the accurate refund amount to
enter (for 100% of it to be applied).
