Here's how to import a Form 1099 into TurboTax Online:
- Open your return in TurboTax.
- In the top right corner is a Search tab. Click it.
- Enter the type of 1099 (such as 1099-B, 1099-DIV, etc.) without quotes.
- Choose "Jump to 1099-B" (or whatever type form it is).
- Start the interview, after a couple of screens, it will ask you if you want to import.
