To change or delete generation-skipping tax:
- Open your return.
(To do this, sign in to TurboTax and click the orange Take me to my return button.)
- Do a search for generation-skipping tax deduction and then click the "Jump to" link in the search results. (Alternatively you can navigate through the menu to Federal Taxes, Deductions and Credits. Scroll down to Other Deductions and Credits, and choose start for Other Deductible Expenses.)
- If you have previously entered a generation-skipping tax, you will see a screen with the title Tell us about your generation-skipping taxes
- Clear out the values you see on the screen by clicking on the trash icon (or you can just clear out/change your entries)
