To report your income from eBay sales please go to: Federal Taxes > Wages & Income > scroll down to Less Common Income > Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C > Other Reportable Income and click Start.
The Miscellaneous Income category includes:
- Wages not already reported on a W-2 (like for a household employee)
- Reimbursed deductions
- Bad-debt recoveries
- Long-term care accounts
- Coverdell ESA and 529 QTPs (Form 1099-Q)
- Cancellation of debt (like from credit cards)
- Bartering income not already reported
- Income and expenses from a hobby
- Income from personal property that you rented to someone
- Income from a U.S. possession
- Other reportable income
