If you are an employee, you will report your cash tips after you enter the information from your W-2. When asked Do any of these uncommon situations apply to this W-2?, select Unreported tips. (Click the first screenshot below for reference.) When you continue through the interview, you'll be able to enter your tips. (Click the second screenshot below.)
If you are self-employed, you'll enter your tips as Additional Income. (Click the third and fourth screenshots below.)
