Unfortunately, Form 3800 is set up that way, but the K-1 Instructions carve out Form 5884-A from this rule. It makes no sense to carve it out the 5884-A in this scenario because Form 3800 requests the partnership EIN and the 5884-A does not request that information, but merely the flow through amount from the partnership. The problem is that Turbo Tax should have been able to incorporate Form 5884-A into e-filing once it was released in February.
