Get your taxes done using TurboTax
If you bank doesn't support the import function or cannot be found, you can enter you data manually. Since you say "bank" I will assume you are entering a 1099-INT. The process is the same for 1099-B or 1099-DIV, you would just need to choose Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other or Dividends on 1099-DIV.
To enter your 1099-INT,
- In your open Federal Return, choose the tab for Wages & Income
- Scroll down to the topic Interest on 1099-INT (you may have to click Add more income and See a list to find it) and choose Start/Edit
- Choose Edit if you already started or + Add more income to enter your 1099-INT
- On the next page Let's get your tax info, scroll down and choose the gray button in the lower right, I'll type it in myself. On the page Let's get your 1099-INT or brokerage statement details enter your bank name and interest in Box 1, if any.
