Just change your filing status from married to single and TurboTax will delete the Personal Information about your ex-wife.
- Click on the Personal Info
tab.
- On the Personal info summary, click Edit next to marital status.
- On the next screen, Let's confirm your marital status, click on the Single radio button and click Continue.
- TurboTax will remove your ex-wife's personal information.
If her W-2 information transferred from last year, you can delete it using these steps:
- Click on Federal Taxes >
Wages & Income [In TT Self-Employed: Personal >
Personal Income > I'll choose what I work on].
- Under Wages and Salaries,
click on the Start/Revisit box. [See Screenshot #1, below.]
- You will see the screen, Here's
your W-2 info. [Screenshot #2]
- Click on the "trashcan" icon next to her information.
