To get to the 1095-A and change who is the primary policyholder on the 1095-A:
- Type 1095-A in the search box and click search.
- Click on Jump to 1095-A.
- Continue with the onscreen interview until you get to the Was anyone covered by any of these plans in 2016? screen, and choose Yes.
- On the What type of plan were you enrolled in? screen, click on Affordable Care Act, (1095-A).
- Enter the 1095-A information.
- On the Do any of these situations apply? screen, click on Got married in 2016. Under Who was the primary policyholder?, click your spouse. See the screenshot below.
- Continue with the onscreen interview.
