In TurboTax Deluxe Online:
- Go to the Federal section and choose Deductions and Credits.
- Scroll down to Employment Expenses and choose Job Expenses for W-2 Income.
- On the screen Do Any of These Uncommon Situations Apply to Your Job? check you are in the transportation industry (see screenshot)
- Continue through the interview questions, until you reach the screen Any Other Expenses? You can enter your per diem in the box Meal expenses covered by department of transportation Rules (enter your total meal expenses here).
- If you are reimbursed for any expenses, you will enter your reimbursement in the screen Tell Us About Reimbursements.
