If you decided to electronically file your return, then you do not have to mail your 1099-R in. The 1099-R transmission will be sent along with your tax return to the IRS based on what you entered into TurboTax.
If you choose to mail your return, you should attach all income documents (ie W-2, 1099-R, 1099-MISC etc ) to your printed return.
