Get your taxes done using TurboTax

It is always best to report all income that you have earned. The IRS can apply fines and penalties for any unreported income. If you were not issued a 1099-MISC for this income it would be best to report this as Other Income in line 21 of your Tax Return. This will save you Self-Employment Taxes and having to upgrade your TurboTax account to Self-Employed.

To Enter this as Other Income (without having received 1099-MISC please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your TurboTax Account
  2. From the main upper most tab select Federal Taxes
  3. In the secondary tab select Wages and Income
  4. Scroll down to Less Common Income and select Show More
  5. Once the screen drops down select Start in Miscellaneous Income
  6. Then select Start to Other Reportable Income.
