My dad bought some ETH on coinbase and sent it to me to buy ALT coins. The exchange is my account. Does my dad have to report that he sent me crypto on taxes or do I report that I received crypto. I know that I have to report crypto to crypto to the IRS. Also if I bought the Alt coins on my exchange with the amount he sent , who has to report that?
